The Annual Pioneer Open Chess Tournament will be held on Saturday, November 12th, at the main campus of Sacred Heart University (SHU) in Fairfield, CT.

GRADE 11 CHAMPIONSHIP
DATE: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2022.
SITE: Hall High School, 975 North Main Street, West Hartford, CT.
ELIGIBLE: Students attending any CONNECTICUT school (including Home School).
SCHEDULE: This is a four-round tournament. PLAY BEGINS AT 9:00 A.M.
Clocks may be placed on games with a time limit of one hour per player.
Players with 2.5-0.5 scores will be paired with 2-1 players in round 4.
PRIZES: TROPHIES TO THE CHAMPION (AND ANY CO-CHAMPIONS).
PLUS, ALL PLAYERS WHO SCORE 3-1 OR BETTER WILL RECEIVE
8,500 “TUITION REWARD” POINTS, WHICH CAN BE REDEEMED
