Report on 2019 Christmas Party

We had a great time with 25-30 members and families joining our Christmas Party. The bullet tournament afterwards was amended to be a double round robin with just G/1. FM Nelson Castaneda took first with a score of 27.5/30. Joe Bihlmeyer took second with 26/30. Thanks to everyone who came and brought desserts and drinks. Thanks also to all the volunteers who helped cleaned up afterwards.

GAME OF THE WEEK   by Alan Lasser
It looks like my score in recorded games this year finishes at 588W-144L-41D.

The top winners were Magnus Wennemyr-17, Cliff McLaughlin-15, Gus Sayer-14, Zubin Baliga-12, Zeno Kalonaris-10, Rod Hajaj-9 and Tom Shneer-7.

Rob Roy's fine playing space in Coventry, CT attracts players from over the border, the Rhode Island teenager Hayes Goodman took first place at last week’s Holiday Party Open.
