Coach Arslan, who is USCF Rated 2400, will be hosting a free chess simul at the Weston Library on Sunday, May 19th at 9am. A chess simul is where one player plays multiple players in multiple matches at one time.
For an example of a chess simul, you can check out Magnus Carlson (the current World Champion) in New York in 2016:
Here is the info you need to know:
1. The simul is open to the public, all ages.
2. To participate, you must be USCF rated below 2000.
3. There will be no clocks. When Coach Arslan gets to your game, you move or he moves on and comes back around.
4. You have to wait to move until he gets to your board.
5. You can not talk to others about your game while playing.
